About UsThe Chi Lambda chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi was founded at the University of Evansville on June 10, 1951 under the guiding ideal that sisters shine grace and light in everything they do. As one of the four national sororities on UE's campus, Chi Lambda sisters have prided themselves on being as active as they can from stepping up as leaders in AOII and other organizations as well. Our sisters have been involved in everything from admission ambassadors, orientation leaders, leadership academy, ACES dance, cheer teams, varsity sports, student congress, student publications, health services administration club, bi-sci Club, theatre, international club, college mentors for kids and so much more. Within the past few years our chapter has been acknowledged for a number of achievements including the UE Greek Life Purple Chapter of Excellent, Pillars of Excellence, Lifelong Sisterhood, Social Interaction, Service/Philanthropy and Leadership, 2014 Greek Woman of the Year, Excellence in Membership Retention, Risk Management and Ritual, Philos Award for Excellence in Panhellenic, 1st place for 2015 Musical Madness, 2015 Student-Elected Trustee, 2014 New Member of the Year and we were also chosen as one of the top 10 AOII chapters internationally at convention this past summer.
